What a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) Will Do For You

A Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) is an individual, who is chosen, to manage a Managed Futures account. These individuals, roughly 800 currently in practice, are monitored by the National Futures Association (NFA) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). These money managers provide a management tool for the investor. Their duties include exercising trading authority over a customer's account as well as giving advice through written publications or other media. Through daily research and analysis, these money managers give advice to consumers and help to make their Managed Futures investments more lucrative.
